Ed Stetzer and LifeWay Research do a tremendous job in portraying the challenges those of us on church staffs face and also the opportunity we have with the younger, unchurched generation. They begin in part one by polling the younger, unchurched about their beliefs, ideas and perceptions.

After extensive polling and more than 500 face-to-face interviews, Stetzer captures statistics regarding four areas of importance to a young adult. He defines these areas, discusses their challenges and suggests opportunities for the church.

In the final section, they take a look at what some churches are doing successfully to reach the younger adults. After surveying almost 200 churches, Stetzer compiles a “set of strategic ideas that others can consider implementing in their context.”
