Furious that Target Australia booted the “Grand Theft Auto” franchise from its shelves, about 60,000 gamers have signed a petition asking the chain to ban the Bible, as well—alleging the Good Book has more graphic and sexual content than GTA.

“This is the Holy Bible,” the petition reads. “This book means that after various sex acts, readers are given options to kill women by stoning her unconscious, setting them on fire, cutting of their hands, and killing their children!”

It seems as though these angry gamers have their wish…in a way. When the petition had registered a mere 40,000 signatures, Target notified petitioners it actually doesn’t sell the Bible. (Daily Mail)
