Discipleship of a child begins at home with parents, but this is not a job for parents alone. This job also extends to pastors, teachers and volunteers involved in a child’s life.

Goodwin does a nice job of laying out how adults involved in a child’s life can be examples of Christ to that child. Raising Kids to Extraordinary Faith is not about simply passing on verbally all we know or have learned, but living out a relationship with Christ in front of that child and engaging in his or her journey with Christ.

An added bonus from the Web site: downloadable leader’s guide and student sheets to use with the book.
