No supplies required, no preparation time and small enough to tuck inside a book or a Bible, these new tools are exactly what their titles suggest them to be. With 20 devotions and 29 games, respectively, these resources are so slight they might appear to offer little useful content. However, they come in extremely handy as a last-minute time fillers.
The games are old standards and the devotions basically consist of a short activity/story, a Scripture verse and five discussion questions. You won’t be surprised to find there is not a lot of depth or innovation in these books, but they are perfect to put in the hands of a new volunteer or youth worker who is worried about filling an extra 10-15 minutes every once in a while.
