The band Anberlin is in the middle of a big fall tour. The band has teamed up with A Thousand Hills Coffee to build homes for Rwandan orphans.

During the 15,000-mile, 45-day tour, Land of a Thousand Hills is running a mobile giving initiative: Folks who text “GOOD” to 50555 make possible a $5 donation to the Do Good Initiative. Texters also receive a free download of “Summer Tongues” by Anchor & Braille, a side project of Anberlin lead singer Stephan Christian.

“It is our goal with the tour to raise enough funds to build at least 10 homes for orphans in Bukonya, Rwanda, as well as fund the construction of a clean water coffee washing station in Haiti,” said Danny Nicoletto, tour manager for Land of a Thousand Hills. “Haiti has the climate to produce some excellent coffee, but there are several care needs that need to be met since the earthquake. The time is now to be involved there. We are really grateful to be a part of this tour and look forward to telling our story to Amberlin’s audience.”
