Florida Polytechnic University in Lakeland, Fla., just opened its doors to a state-of-the-art, $60 million library; but don’t expect to find any books there. The university’s 500 students instead will have access to 135,000 ebooks through the library.

For those students who still relish sticking their noses in an actual leather-bound book, don’t fret: Polk State College has told FPU students they can check out books from its library if they want—as many as five at a time. (ABC News)
