Nearly a third of teens say their Facebook, Twitter or MySpace accounts have been hacked, according to a new study by the Associated Press and MTV. That’s more than double what was reported two years ago. Most of the time, teens know who’s behind the hack; and often it’s done as a joke—but not all victims think it’s funny. Courtney Eisenbraun, 15, discovered someone masquerading as her had left an inappropriate message about girls in showers. Courtney assumes one of her friends did it. “I was really confused about how they got my password,” she says. “I felt violated.” (AP)
