We all know college is outrageously expensive, and it seems to be getting pricier by the week. With tuition growing like kudzu, it’s too bad there aren’t coupons or discounts available on Groupon or…Wait. What? Groupon’s gotten into the college tuition game, recently offering a 60 percent discount on tuition for a class at Chicago’s National Louis University. Granted, the college class was fairly specialized: The three-credit class Intro to the Profession and Craft of Teaching is strictly for graduate students. Still, the discount was significant: The course normally costs more than $2,200, but could be had through Groupon at the low, low price of $950. (Time)
