Not content to stick with search engines, social networking sites and self-driving cars, Google is working on Internet-savvy eyeglasses. The glasses, called Project Glass and powered by the Android operating system, are connected to the user’s smartphone and offer heads-up displays of their Facebook accounts, their e-mail, and help them get from place to place via its GPS capabilities. “The navigation system currently used is a head tilting to scroll and click,” writes blogger Seth Weinthrub. “We are told it is very quick to learn, and once the user is adept at navigation it becomes second nature and almost indistinguishable to outside users.” (Fox News)
