Facebook has more than 350 million members worldwide. Together they spend 10 billion minutes on the networking site every day. Surprisingly, that’s why some teens are trying to cut back on their Facebook time.

Facebook doesn’t release figures on how many users have deactivated their service, but anecdotal reports show that some teens are trying to curb their time on the site. Some say they have become obsessive about Facebook. Others describe it as an addiction.

Two California teens recently made a pact to help each other stay away from Facebook; and a doctor who works with teens says, “It’s like any other addiction. It’s hard to wean yourself.”
