Jeff Kinley is a master storyteller. He grabs your attention, then in a very ungentlemanly way, refuses to let go. From stories of midnight movie runs with his three teenage boys to tales of his seemingly “haunted” house, his prose is riveting.

The topic of this book similarly is compelling, especially for those who resonate with Kinley’s Dallas Theological background. Those who do not may be a bit put off. While the author acknowledges there may be other perspectives on mysteries like predestination, the God-man, the rapture, evil, end times and Israel, he frames his questions in a way that assumes his own point of view. While this is commonly accepted, his great style might make his perspective more convincing than you wish. His views generally coincide with mainstream evangelicalism, so if that’s the approach you want to bring to your teens, this book is money.

Your teens will love this book, but you should walk through it with them. You’ll have some great discussions!
