Does Twitter lead to sudden death? See what David Crowder Band has to say. Meanwhile, an interfaith Web site calls tweets “positive and life-affirming.” See what they say here.

According to this rockumentary from David Crowder Band, “Twitter Can Kill You.”

Meanwhile, Frederic Brussat, co-founder of the multifaith Web site Spirituality & Practice, offers “25 Reasons Why Twitter Is Spiritual.” He says Twitter helps us:
•  pay attention to what we are doing;
•  connect with others around the world;
•  share joys;
•  be playful;
•  practice hospitality to strangers;
•  be grateful;
•  promote the sacred arts of listening and wonder.

“Twitter gives people a chance to speak out on what matters to them,” says Brussat. “The tweets themselves may be mercifully brief, but they can include links to longer statements.”

You can check out his arguments and tweets at SpiritualityandPractice.com, which is a site that features input from a variety of world religious and spiritual traditions.
