While this book is geared toward elementary and middle school students, you just might find yourself picking it up and sneaking a quick read when nobody is looking. An extended allegory about the life of faith, it entertains as it describes what it looks like to follow the one true Shepherd. Sherman the Sheep has to learn the hard way, though. While I quibble with some of the theology of this story, I also enjoyed Sherman’s adventures as he journeyed into faith.
