SUPPLIES: Masking Tape

SET UP: Place tape marks on teh floor in a circle (one less than the number of people in the group).

SAFETY NOTE: Remind participants not to push others when rushing to find a new spot.

THE GAME: Have participants (except for one volunteer in the middle of the circle) stand on a piece of tape. Ask the volunteer to state something outrageous or unique about her- or himself (or the group), such as “I’ve gone caving.” Players who identify with the statement “take a hike” and scramble (along with the volunteer) to find another spot around the circle.

Whenever everyone has moved, the odd person out takes the volunteer’s place in the middle adn a new round begins. Keep going until everyone has shared something fun and unique about themselves.

GOING DEEPER:
• What surprising true things did you discover about each other?
• How can you apply what you learned in this game to foster friendships?
• How can your group create an atmosphere that makes it easy to share thoughts, talents, and experiences with each other?
