MySpace, the gigantic social networking site, hopes to increase its outreach to prospective Spanish-speaking customers by offering new bilingual communities. The communities, part of MySpace Latino, include information on Latino bands, celebrities and soccer stars, among other points of interest.

“It’s something they’ve been asking for,” said Victor Kong, MySpace Latino’s managing editor. “We’re not just duplicating everything and having the same programs in Spanish.” (Associated Press)
