When NPR invited everyone to participate in its “Best-Ever Teen Fiction” poll, 75,000 people responded, ranking the Harry Potter novels at the top of the list. The other 99 books on the list reveal that Young Adult and teen novels dive into adult issues such as race, violence, sex, the Holocaust and more. See NPR’s list of “Your Favorites: 100 Best-Ever Teen Novels,” as well as the 200-plus finalists.
