This game requires a stopwatch (or cell phone with that feature) and tape or chalk.  Best played on an asphalt parking lot, Old Timers is a game of “slowness” and not speed.  Tape off/or chalk off a starting and a finish line.  A short distance, even three feet, is often sufficient.  Here are the rules.  Each person sees how long it will take to walk from one line to the other, but they must see who can do it the slowest.  This is more difficult than one would think, as the only rule is, the feet must keep moving forward. A judge is needed to determine if motion stops, or if the feet aren’t moving forward, but allow each teenager to give it a try.  See who can actually move from line to line the slowest—all the while moving forward.
