The mission of New England Lutheran Outdoor Ministries is to fostera relationship with Jesus, develop and strengthen fellowship with other Christian youth, and grow in appreciation and awe of God’s creation in a camp setting. To achieve its msision, NELOM provides caring, kid-friendly staff who love and trust God and serve as Christian role models to campers, and provide an environment full of opportunities for personal reflection and spiritual growth. NELOM recognizes the uniqueness of the camp experience, and the way God works through it to minister to those involved.
Elements involved at NELOM camps include weekly themes, music, arts & crafts, team competitions, other activities, nourishment, skits, and more.
The camp got its start in 1922 and currently serves those in fourth grade through college.
