Leadership books relentlessly cover the topics of power and influence, but few address the issue of being a good biblical steward of power. Making Room for Leadership is a detailed look at the nuanced ways in which power is ascribed and utilized. It is a good peek behind the curtain for those in any leadership position.

The academic tone will be a turnoff to some. In addition, many of the anecdotes get in the way of the very points they are meant to illustrate. If you are willing to hunker down and dig in, you will find many nuggets of insight into the perpetual power structure of everything from corporate boards to interpersonal relationships.
