This book covers a wide range of topics from how Christianity compares to other major religions to hypocrisy to the doctrine of hell. Much of the content is in response to ideas of skeptics and New Atheists. Orr-Ewing’s perspective is useful for gaining an overview of contemporary Christian apologetics. However, because numerous issues are addressed, if you are looking for in-depth information, you will need to consult additional resources.

Overall, this is a tool for ministry staff who assist adolescents or adults in navigating intellectual questions. Those who value a relational approach to ministry will appreciate that in the midst of all of the discourse, Orr-Ewing maintains the best way to discover answers to challenging questions is “encountering God for yourself.”
