Have players sit in a circle. Each player in turn asks the player on his or her left two questions: “Where are you going?” and “What will you do there?”

The replies consist of the name of a country and the description of an activity, using verb, adjective and noun, all beginning with the same letter. The first player’s replies must begin with the letter A, the second player’s with B, the third player’s with C and so on.

For example, the conversations might go like this:

Mary: “Where are you going?”

David: “Australia.”

Mary: “What will you do there?”

David: “Assist aged Aborigines.”

David: “Where are you going?”

Edward: “Belgium.”

David: “What will you do there?”

Edward: “Buy big boots.”

Edward: “Where are you going?”

Mary: “China.”

Edward: “What will you do there?”

Mary: “Carve cheap chopsticks.”

Any player who fails to reply within a reasonable time limit drops out of the game. The winner is the last remaining player.
