Life can be rough, but kindness helps make it better. Random Acts of Kindness Week is a chance to bring some attention to this often ignored virtue. The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation is offering new videos and other resources.

Established in 2000, The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation has a mission of inspiring people to practice kindness and to pass it on to others. RAK’s goals are to inspire, empower, act and share to build the kindness community. The organization provides free educational and community ideas and other resources.

New this year is RAK’s Everyday Kindness Video Campaign. After inviting people to share their stories about the power of kindness, RAK selected the three best and is turning these into high-quality videos, created with the help of Storytellers for Good (StoryTellersForGood.org), a team of passionate journalists and photographers who promote stories of people and organizations making a positive difference. One video will be featured during Random Acts of Kindness Week, while the other two will be produced and showcased online a short time later.
