Everything Counts is a year-long youth ministry devotional inspired by Oswald Chambers’ My Utmost for His Highest — easily the greatest devotional book of the 20th century. Anyone who has read Chambers’ work will have high expectations of this book and be blown away by what Steve Case has done. It’s not simply trying to make Oswald sexy or postmodern. Case’s devotions for each day use the same Scripture and theme as Chambers’, and Case includes parts of Chambers’ original work in the “Oswald Says” box each day. The devotions are honest, relevant, and show the true spirit in both Oswald Chambers’ and Steve Case’s lives. You cannot find a better devotional book to recommend to your kids. Definitely pick this one up.
