Think of Call Waiting as a dose of spiritual career counseling. Because it actively wrestles with how to discern God’s call, the book will immediately connect with your older students. The youthful lingo is artificial (think Billy Graham saying, “Fo’ shizzle”), but the authors abandon it early and stick to the point from then on. Better as a group tool than an individual read, this book is great for any students trying to figure out where they’re going.
