“Investing in students is amazing. I mean sitting there with a teen who is absorbing the time we are pouring into them is priceless. Too often we as youth pastors can become preoccupied with the “doing” of our jobs that we miss those important moments of investing. In other words discipling students is really what our jobs are about. All the fancy events, services and community outreaches boil down to one single purpose. Building up a student to becoming a mature believer. The most wonderful thing about all this is that there is no one single method that is better than another. Each environment produces a unique challenge to discipling, but also provides the atmosphere for creativity … “
