We have not done a good job in convincing young people and the larger society of the value and necessity of maintaining an America based on traditional values, of maintaining fundamental institutions—basic rights and freedoms. America must, in addition, be a society open to change, to creativity and progress for the betterment of mankind—but always keeping that plumb line of righteousness—the critical standard of right and wrong—which maintains the parameters past
which a society cannot go and preserve stability. For a stable society has boundaries and limits.

America has stretched those limits—to the ultimate—but the fundamental institutions are still in place and Christians can work together to re-gain that lost ground as long as we maintain this basic core, this basic heritage, of fundamental institutions and values. The challenge to the basic stability of American society at the moment lies in the demands of the LGBT community for the elimination of our most basic institution, the marriage between a man and a woman.

Several states already have surrendered in this present battle to preserve America; but this ground can—and I predict will—be re-gained, for our biggest obstacle has been the reluctance and everyone’s difficulty in discussing the subject. The name-calling, hostility and anger on both sides has prevented the discussion which would present the solid case which is convincing beyond any doubt that homosexual behavior was not meant to be. There is a better way for society and for
these specially chosen ones whom God has designed as perfectly as He has all of His creation.

I realize I may sound overly confident and assured, but I know with the absolute certainty that comes from divine revelation that this behavior is wrong and that being so, the fulfillment of God’s plan for the earth, God’s kingdom on earth which will include perfect societies, can only come with the perfectly ordered society we are destined to be. The harmonious, orderly universe—and balanced, harmonious societies within it—cannot be based on a disorderly and unnatural model.

I realize this is not easy for the LGBT community to hear. We’ve allowed the members of this community to have years of moving their agenda forward and making enormous inroads, but what they are presently offering never was meant to be. What God intends is so much better, and it is our loving understanding of His plan and of these whom He loves which will allow His people now to speak and debate the case in a way they—and all—can listen and will hear.

Surely, it has been the fault of society, not these innocent ones, that a place has not been found for them. Even the safe haven of convents and monasteries have not allowed them to reveal who they are, that they might be known fully and loved for who they are. However, humans ave learned and understand enough about the nature of humans that we can find a safe haven and place of honor, distinction and respect for them and reverence for the sacrifices they must make in order to have the rich life of blessings and rewards they deserve.

Maybe, just maybe, it is the presence of these special ones as they begin to walk the high road intended for them, seeing the love and devotion from and for their Creator which will convince others, even societies as a whole, of the necessity for a belief in the Divine Being. My own brief story of how I came to receive this divine revelation, how my own study consequently showed me that all the winning arguments fall on the same side of the scale on this issue is an essay yet to be written. Whether using sociological, biological or scientific arguments, whether we look at dysfunctional families or compare homosexuality to self-indulgence
or simply look at the act these people perform with each other, all show the homosexual coupling and act to be wrong. Although this essay is not yet written, it will be one which upholds God‘s law, embracing the concept of a divine plan which has been there all along, shining with radiance for these chosen ones of God.

We, God’s people, the Bride of Christ, are to love these special ones with the holy Christian love one gives a friend—with open minds and hearts, resting in the arms of God’s love, and the love of all His saints in heaven who reach out to us now. We await the coming of our Lord. Let us give thanks to our God as He brings us all together in spirit for this event—His enormous, infinite gift to us in accordance with His will, His peaceful kingdom in this time through His grace and in His boundless love.
