Activities for Global Citizens is a resource filled with learning activities to open the eyes of students to a different world. The activities are divided into junior and senior high segments, making it easy to choose the right learning experience. The book shares activities that cover a wide range of global challenges, such as poverty, AIDS, education, health and disaster.

Water for All teaches how precious water is in Third World countries. The activities are geared toward high schoolers and comes with a DVD. This material is academically styled, but it offers a quality education about something Westerners tend to take for granted.

The Young Stars resource book and DVD takes us to India and inside the plight of child laborers and their struggle to be heard. The material is geared to help global children understand their rights in their community. Young Stars will work well in small-group settings, using role play or prepping for missions training. The DVD could be used to introduce a message about rights, equality and how God uses young people to lead.

This collection of tools should be in every youth worker’s library—not on a shelf collecting dust, but on the calendar to teach an often-cloistered society of teens that God loves the world around them as much as He loves them.
