'Just Pray NO!' Event Tackles Drugs

By Press Release | Posted March 22, 2010 | March 2010
Since April 7, 1991, Just Pray NO! has sought to unite Christians from around the world in intercessory prayer on behalf of the addicted and their families. Not only is substance abuse America's number one health problem, but the devastation of alcoholism and other drug addiction has impacted families and communities worldwide.

Substance abuse has been linked directly to violence and sexual immorality and is a major source of income for organized crime and terrorist activities.

Steven L. Sherman, founder of Just Pray NO! Ltd., makes a personal plea for Christians to pray for those bound by drugs and other addictions here.

"Make a formal commitment to join with believers in Christ from around the globe this coming April," says Sherman. "Put on the full armor of God and fervently pray in spirit and in truth. We again are seeking to enlist 1,000,000 prayer warriors from around the world to join us in battle."
