More than three million high school graduates are competing to enroll at colleges and universities, and the average high school graduate has received less than 30 minutes of college counseling. How can you help students “brand” themselves for academic success?

Shannon Meairs, co-creator of ABC’s 2005 TV series “The Scholar,” says the greatest differentiating factor students have is to find their “Brand” the unique compelling story that sets them apart from other applicants.

Now Meairs has helped create “College Admission: Simplified,” a DVD series designed to help young people increase their odds in the admissions race. The $30 package helps students navigate the confusing application process by helping them identify their Brand. It also helps them know which schools are within their “range,” if the ACT or the SAT matters the most, how to apply for financial aid and how to succeed in college.
