On a national and international level, David challenges youth ministries and equips adults at events with passion, humor, relevance and authenticity. David frequently speaks and consults at events sponsored by Youth Specialties, Group Publishing, The Creation Festivals (east and west), Compassion International, as well as numerous national, regional and local church events in over 40 states and numerous countries. David also has experience speaking at business seminars, public schools, and fundraising banquets for non-profit and Christian ministries.
David's background includes 17 years of serving in various pastoral roles (youth, education, evangelism, lead pastor) in the local church, 8 years as a regional denomational ministry consultant coupled with over 20 years speaking here, there, and everywhere.
On a regional level, David is the lead architect for ministry to youth, children, and young adults as he empowers a staff of 35 leaders to share an ancient message with relevance for the historic Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association New Jersey. In this position he is the vision caster for Christian concerts, beach festivals, youth worker training events and various age level ministries.
David is a ministry veteran with 25 years experience as speaker, author, leader, minister, and a regional denominational ministry consultant. From 2000 - 2005, David produced a youth ministry conference that grew from 1700 to over 4700 youth and youth leaders. More importantly, this "youth rally" became a benchmark which impacted lives, churches, communities, pastors and youth pastors on the Delmarva Peninsula and beyond.
David has over 30 cds which has provided resources for various audiences in the arena of inspirational messages, leadership training, young adult ministry, and youth worker training. David's passion is to raise up a generation of youth as worshippers beyond church as usual and to train and equip youth workers with innovative ideas to impact their churches and communities.
On a local level, David, his wife, Kathryn, and their 3 children spend time between their homes in Middletown, DE and Ocean Grove, NJ.
