This is a game that can be played with the popular Peeps marshmallow candies that usually appear on store shelves in March and April. Purchase an assortment of three colors for this game, and give each student one color of each (a white one, a yellow one and a blue one, for example). Invite one student to lead each round. This game is played like the popular kids game: “Green Light, Yellow Light, Red Light.” For each round, the leader gives instructions such as, “White Peep!” at which point the students attempt to each as much as the Peep as possible before the leader shouts, “Yellow Peep!” and so on. (One rule: The entire Peep may not be eaten at once.) Basically, this is a race to see who can nibble away their Peeps the fastest. Play more than one round with a different person leading if you have the supply.
