Icebreaker: Yes and No

Equipment: Five coins for each player

Each player is given five coins (or if that proves to be too costly, they may be given five matches). The players have to pair off and engage each other in conversation. The aim is to trick the other player into using the words "Yes" or "No." The first player of the pair to say "Yes" or "No" is presented with a penny by the other player. The two players then split up and move on to new partners. The first player to get rid of his or her coins is the winner.
