Former NFL player, Derwin “Dewey” Gray (also known as “The Evangelism Linebacker”) is the Pastor of Discipleship and Teaching at a young, vibrant multi-ethnic Church called
theGathering in Charlotte, North Carolina, and he serves as the President of
One Heart At A Time Ministries. He is a 2004 graduate of the
Billy Graham Institute of Emerging Evangelists; Derwin will graduate from Southern Evangelical Seminary with a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Apologetics in May 2008.
As a highly sought-after communicator, he has shared the Gospel of Grace throughout America and abroad, with an intense passion that is contagious and inspiring. Derwin has had the honor of teaching in a variety of settings including Billy Graham Evangelistic Association events, Billy Graham School of Evangelism, Franklin Graham Festivals, Greg Stier’s Dare 2 Share Ministries, Tommy Nelson Song of Solomon Youth Conferences, and The National Conference of Apologetics sponsored by Focus on the Family and Southern Evangelical Seminary.
