Camp Hammer, located 50 miles south of San Francisco, operates under the banner: "Building biblical relationships upward and outward."
The camp, which offers Adventure/Wilderness Camp, Conference/Retreat Center and Resident Camp for children and teenagers, is a Baptist affiliated entity. Throughout the year, the following theme camps are offered: Leadership Development, Missions and Team Building.
Amenities include a basketball court, fishing area (lake and stream), game room / arcade, soccer field, outdoor swimming pool, BMX track, and archery. Kitchen access is
not open to campers. Lodging styles include cabins, dormitories, and hotel/motel; capacity is 165. Single adults may enjoy upgraded facilities; married couples have access to upgraded facilities with double beds; and families may lodge together in one unit.
