Camp Agape is a year-round Christian camping facility, specializing in missions and retreat opportunities. Located in Southeast Tennessee, Camp Agape is owned and operated by the Polk County Baptist Association of Benton, Tennessee.
We are a 230 acre evangelistic Christian camp adjacent to the Cherokee National Forest. The dining hall and dormitory offer a spectacular view of the 8 acre lake. Flowing nearby are two of the area's most enjoyable white water rafting rivers—the Hiwassee, six miles to the north, and the Ocoee (site of the 1996 Olympic white water events), 10 miles to the south.
Spiritual activities such as Bible study, devotions, and off-site mission programs are available. We also have a challenging low ropes initiatives course and 32 foot climbing tower with repelling wall, chimney climb and zip line. Many additional opportunities exist for the traditional camp activities, such as hiking, swimming, canoeing, and fishing. Scheduled and custom programs are also available. Full-time and volunteer staff are on hand to assist you and your leaders in providing a Christian camp or retreat experience.
