Before I Close My Eyes: True Email Conversations of Faith and the Meaning of Life
By John Dunham
At first glance, Andreasen’s book looks like a poor man’s Screwtape Letters: a book of correspondence, this time between two people talking about faith. But as you read, you find yourself falling into their story. Based upon actual correspondence, many of their e-mails are chatter about everyday life between fellow music lovers. This levity between heavier topics builds a narrative and allows the reader’s mind to breathe.

This book serves two purposes: a conversation guide for you and a seeker, or a primer for how to engage a seeker. Andreasen exhibits sensitivity and patience as an uncompromising model evangelist.
