Change Your Church for Good: The Art of Sacred Cow Tipping
By Brad Powell

Thomas Nelson, 2007, 316 pp., $13.99 www.northridgeministries.com

Brad Powell joins the herd of other church leaders creating a list of dos and don’ts on changing the culture of a church. What makes this book unique is that the author discusses his personal failings as a church leader and what he learned from them.

Powell shares with us his experience in taking the bull by the horns as he walked his congregation through a series of changes, casting vision and rounding up leaders from within to create the church as it is today. While not a real page turner, Change Your Church for Good gives clear instruction on how you can tip over sacred cows in your own church.
