You Want ME to Lead Devotionals?!
By Jeffrey E. Meinz

Concordia, 111 pp., 2007, $14.99 www.cph.org

This devotional volume’s lack of significant depth or required preparation makes it ideal as a “fly by the seat of your pants” resource. However, the 52 autonomous devotions have no real connection between one another other than their lackluster format. They therefore don’t lend themselves to prolonged consistent use in leading any group unless your sole goal is to explore various scriptures and their personal connotations.

This might be a good resource to keep on your shelf “just in case,” but it will probably end up blending in with the rest of the seldom-used items that gather dust in your library.
