Warrior Poetes
Three sisters. Their music ignites with incomparable drive, contagious optimism, unparalleled sensitivity for people, unstoppable passion, and uncommonly genuine, yet decidedly killer smiles.

Marissa. Allicia. Ariana. These three very different individuals come together and write exceptional music and lyrics. November 2006 heralded their third independent release, “Anticipating Arrival” – a 12-song album with fresh perspective, a pleasant combination of driving beats and fluid ballads, and an infusion of the three’s vocal and instrumental talent as never experienced before.

They began their harmonizing early in life, officially formed as a band in 1999, and began touring throughout New England, New York, and Pennsylvania building a following of faithful fans and releasing two full-length albums, “Power, Love, & a Sound Mind” in 2000 and “Amplified” in 2001. In 2003, the sisters brought their instrumental talent to a fore in their live show, raging additional attention to their already solid vocal and songwriting capabilities while expanding their performance base to a national level from New York City to Seattle, Buffalo to Orlando and internationally to El Salvador and Ireland in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Garnering press from radio airplay and interviews, TV-tapings on both national and local networks, as well as magazine and newsprint, these women have filled the seats of various venues large & small -- festivals, colleges, churches, coffeehouses, clubs, and camps.

They are daily crossing genres and breaking barriers. The band has shared the stage with musicians like Dr. Bobby Jones, Lourds, Rebecca St. James, Tree 63, Raining Jane, Melba Moore, Billy Sprague, Paul Coleman, Barlow Girl, Geoff Moore, Joy Williams, Ten Shekel Shirt, Tremaine Hawkins, and LaRue. Challenging people to put their money where their mouth is regarding the issue of poverty, Warrior Poetes has partnered with World Vision – a renowned humanitarian organization working domestically and internationally to address the root causes of poverty. Marissa, Allicia, and Ariana’s college, campus, and community programming event, called Hunger2Hope, has heightened awareness and raised thousands of dollars while igniting a purposeful passion in participants that allows them to engage in the local and global community.

For more H2H information, visit the band website at www.warriorpoetes.com. In addition, the three are independent business-women through Fortune 100 Corporation, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Inc., mentoring other business leaders and entrepreneurs. Three Sisters. Strong Music. More than a Band.
