Jessica McLean is a singer, songwriter, musician who longs to be open and honest about her own struggles and experiences, in order to relate with an audience. She learned to play the guitar at thirteen years old and began writing songs soon after that. Through worship, she learned how to truly connect and have a relationship with God.
Jessica is married to Nic McLean, director of the evangelical surf film “Noah’s Arc.” They are building their dreams together in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Jessica is very close to her family and enjoys spending as much time as possible with her friends and family.
Each song on her debut album, “Designed to Dream,” stems from a personal struggle and desire to seek God’s will in her life. Her one desire is to tell the world who Jesus is and how much He loves them. Jessica especially has a heart for young girls who are struggling with the pressures to fit into this world. “My dream to spread the love of God through music is coming true and I want to encourage every person, young and old, to seek God’s will for their lives. If you give the Lord your heart, He will allow you to live your dreams, shine like stars, and carry the light into the darkness.”
