La Paz Youth Take Action Against Drugs

Teens in La Paz, Mexico, are concerned about recent drug crimes and are taking action.

Eight-thousand teenagers took part in a march against drugs in commemoration of the International Day Against Traffic and Use of Drugs.

In addition to voicing their opinion about the harm of drugs on their lives and communities, young people and the La Paz government are promoting sports as a healthy alternative, citing the long history of sport champions from the area.
