A Mother of a Job

Under the heading, “Let’s hope they don’t decide to unionize,” The typical mom should earn about $69,135 a year, according to a recent study. The pay grade is based on time moms spend cleaning (maids make about $11.30 an hour in New York City), cooking (head cooks make $42.52 an hour), caring for kids ($14.70 for nannies), shopping (mystery shoppers make $21 an hour) and chauffeuring ($15.20 hourly rate for cabbies). Plus, most folks get, like, a day off every now and then, right? (New York Daily News)
