Keeping Up with the Jonases

Remember back when Jiminy Cricket sang about wishing upon a star? Disney doesn’t just wish these days; it makes its stars. From Hilary Duff to Miley Cyrus to those singing, stomping kids from High School Musical, the Mouse House knows talent. Disney’s new kids on the block? The Jonas Brothers.

The Jonas Brothers, a trio of actual siblings named Nick (15), Joe (18) and Kevin (20), have a hit record (debuting on the Billboard chart at No. 5 last August), a rabid fan base (12,000 tickets for a recent concert sold in two minutes) and an upcoming Disney reality show. They also are devout Christians, though you wouldn’t necessarily infer it from their music.

“I think we can make a bigger impact in the Top 40 world,” says Nick. (Entertainment Weekly)
