Researchers have found that college students who spend lots of time playing video games have lower grade-point averages than those who don’t.

And they needed a study for this?

The researchers took a look at students whose roommates brought in a video–game console, and they found that those newly gamed students spent an average of 40 minutes less on homework. This led to grades what were 0.241 points lower than their nongaming peers. (USA Today)
