While much of the information is not new, Luce does more than rant about the dying culture. He presents an action plan and challenges parents to place it in motion.
Parents are urged to reclaim the amount of worldly culture they let into their homes, to challenge their local congregation to create a place of welcome for teens and to recreate culture.
Whether or not one believes the book’s premise that we are “one generation away from extinction,” it contains food for thought that would be great for a small group of parents.
