A man, apparently tired of wearing wrist watches that wrap around the wrist has invented a technique to eliminate the pesky band. He installed several magnets underneath his skin, and the magnets now hold his iPod Nano. Dave Hurban calls his invention the iDermal, and he invented it just because he “thought it would be cool.” While Hurban might be on the bleeding edge of technology now, he may be cut out of future Nano advances. “To be honest, if they come up with a new one, and it’s bigger or smaller, I probably won’t change it,” he says.
