This fun (yet simple) indoor game is perfect for smaller groups or while riding on a bus.  Beforehand, purchase some inexpensive shoe laces—one for each student—and create a series of knots in each shoe lace.  (Hint:  tie the knots according to a pattern so that each lace has the same number of knots, tightness, and location on the lace.)

To play—pass out the shoelaces and use a stop watch to see which student can untie the knots the fastest.  This game is made all the more fun if you require the students to wear their winter gloves while attempting to untie the knots.
